Stanza is free to use. You can write, record, publish, react, reply, critique, join circles and build lists without paying anything. A paid plan adds room to grow, deeper insight into your readers, and ad-free reading — and it helps keep Stanza running.

- Pro — for poets who want more room, fuller analytics and an ad-free experience.
- Organizations — for journals, presses, schools and collectives running an organization on Stanza.
You may also see Plus on some accounts. Plus is not available to buy; it is granted by the Stanza team.
What Pro adds
- Ad-free browsing on your personal profiles.
- 15 Encores a month instead of 8.
- Longer recordings — longer spoken-word pieces, podcast episodes and background audio.
- Unlimited live sessions. On the free plan, live sessions are limited in number and length each month.
- Higher limits on drafts and on the circles you can create and their members.
- Full analytics — impressions, reading time, the 30-day view of your work, audience insights and more.
- Email notifications. Push and in-app notifications are free for everyone; email delivery is a paid feature.
- Who threw a Tomato. On your own poems, Pro lets you see the names of readers who threw a Tomato — unless they chose to keep their tomatoes private.

What the free plan keeps
Free analytics never hide what is already yours. Your cheers, encores, tomatoes, replies and view counts are always visible. Pro adds the measured reach figures on top of them; on the free plan those show as "Pro only" rather than as zero.
The Organizations plan
The Organizations plan includes everything in Pro, plus organization-level analytics, unlimited open calls and a reduced marketplace commission. An organization profile gets 15 Encores a month and is ad-free when the organization is on this plan.
Ads and ad-free browsing
Ads help keep Stanza free. They appear in feeds, Discover, search and on poem pages — never on profile pages or organization pages. There is no setting to switch ads off; the way to go ad-free is Stanza Pro.
Whether you see ads depends on the profile you are currently using:
- Your personal profiles are ad-free when your own plan is Pro.
- An organization profile is ad-free when that organization is on the Organizations plan.
- Being part of a paid organization does not make your personal browsing ad-free, and a personal Pro plan does not make an organization profile ad-free.
Ads are not personalised unless you turn Personalized ads on in your privacy settings. It is off by default, and it can never be turned on for members under 18.

Each profile has its own allowance; they are not pooled.
Trying Pro
Starting Pro from the web includes a 14-day free trial. Prices and any trial offered in the App Store or Google Play are shown on the plan page before you confirm. Prices can vary by platform and region, so your Subscription page in Settings is always the place to check what applies to you.
