Version 2.90.0 puts the reading experience in your hands: set your own poem size on the Stage, shape search around how you use it, and meet a cleaner, more talkative reaction bar.
Poem size, your way
Every reader holds poems differently. Tap any poem on the Stage and a small dotted slider appears inside the card — slide it to the size you like to read at.
- Short poems grow to fill the frame, up to the size you set (16–34pt).
- Long poems settle into your chosen reading size and scroll — a comfortable option if you like larger text.
- It sticks. Your size is remembered on your device (even offline) and follows your account across devices.
- Nothing else moves. The reaction rail and the poem's layout stay exactly where they were while you size.
Search preferences
Search now has a home for the way you like it. Look for the sliders icon next to the search input, or Settings › Search.
- Information cards — choose whether the poetic-form and sound cards appear above results. (Dismissing one with × still only hides it for the session — this is the durable switch.)
- Defaults — pick the sort (Relevant, Latest, Popular) and the tab (All, Poems, Poets, Sounds) every new search opens with.
- History — keep or turn off recent-search suggestions, and clear them any time. Recent searches stay on your device only.
- Mature content — decide whether poems marked mature appear in your results. Content-warning preferences still apply either way.
A sharper reaction bar
Reactions on a poem's page are now compact and easier to read at a glance.
- Glyph discs — each reaction sits on its own soft circle, so the emoji stays clear even when a reaction is active and coloured.
- Hold for the story — press and hold any reaction (repost and share too) to see what it means and its exact counts.
- Compact counts — big numbers now read as 1K / 1.2M everywhere.
- Tap to explore — form and #hashtag pills on cards and poem pages now jump straight into a search for them.
Fixes & under the hood
- Notification settings that save — toggles under Organizations (including Open Calls), Applications, and Account & Safety used to quietly revert; they now persist reliably.
- Clean reply search results — reply snippets in search showed raw formatting tags; they now render as clean text with your match highlighted.
- Open-call alerts — notification styling and links for open-call updates are corrected.
- For staff — moderation portal accounts get per-channel notification controls for staff mail and the mod queue, while safety-critical inboxes always deliver.
