v2.68.0 — Organizations hub, open calls you can actually enter, and a desktop that feels like one
Organizations get a proper home, open calls accept entries directly on web and mobile, and the desktop navigation rail now follows you into every page instead of vanishing on detail screens.
This release is mostly about making Stanza feel whole — the same features in the same places, whichever device you open it on.
Enter an open call without leaving the app
Before, tapping an open call just sent you to the organization's page and left you to work it out. Now you can read the call and submit your piece to it directly.
- Submit from the call itself — on both web and mobile, with your eligible pieces listed for you.
- Status aware — closed or upcoming calls no longer offer a submit button that would fail.
- Cleaner for hosts — if you're viewing your own organization's call, the entry form stays out of your way.
A real home for organizations
- Organizations — rebuilt as a curated hub rather than a flat list.
- Organization profiles — wider layout with more room for the work.
- Open call detail — two-column on larger screens so the brief and the entry sit side by side.
- Discover — organization banner cards are a consistent height and left-aligned, fixing the stretched artwork.
Desktop navigation that stays put
The navigation rail used to disappear the moment you opened something — an organization, an open call, a circle, a podcast, a poem, a profile, a list, a confection. It now follows you into all of them.
Mobile catches up with web
A sweep to close the gaps where a feature existed on one platform but not the other.
- Applications — apply and track your applications inside the app, instead of being bounced to a browser.
- Quick critique — leave a short critique inline, with the right controls for critics and owners.
- Encore — removing an Encore now asks first, since Encores are limited.
- Analytics — Views, Impressions and Top Submissions on mobile.
- Live & podcasts — Share and Download where they were previously missing.
- Live on web — a Collab tab.
