v2.40.0 — Organization publishing & drafts that survive interruptions — Stanza Help

Organizations can now publish and feature their members' work. A Requests inbox lets you accept or decline, and you get clear credit every time. The editor is also more dependable: drafts are saved when the app is interrupted, and you're offered your unsaved work when you return.

Two things in this release: a new way for organizations to work with poets, and an editor you can trust with a poem in progress.

Organization publishing

Organizations on Stanza can publish and feature poems on behalf of their members, and you stay in control of your work.

Requests inbox — when an organization wants to publish or sponsor your work, you'll see the request and can accept or decline.
Clear credit — published pieces carry a “Published in…” byline, and by default you're credited alongside the organization.
Sponsored pieces — while a piece is sponsored, it's locked against edits so it stays as agreed. Sponsorships end automatically when they expire.
For organizations — choose who may post on the organization's behalf, whether posts need review, and the default credit. Posts by editors wait for an admin's approval.
Notifications — you'll hear about pending posts, new requests, and sponsorships that end.

Drafts that survive interruptions

Background saving — if the app is interrupted while you're writing, your draft is saved.
Restore prompt — when you come back, Stanza offers to restore your unsaved draft.

Fixes

The web composer could show a blank page.

Before — opening compose on the web could show a white screen.
After — it opens normally.

Editing errors were confusing.

Before — a failed edit showed an unclear message.
After — you get a clean explanation.

Reliability, security & accessibility

Accessibility — labelled fields and controls, sheets that close with Esc, and tooltips in the app.
Moderation — the moderation team can see publishing status and sponsored badges.
Dependencies — notification and other libraries are updated.
