v2.39.1 — Organization & circle feeds, publishing from your journal, and review status

The Stage gains Organizations and Inner Circles views, and feed cards now carry organization badges. You can publish a private journal entry straight to Stanza, follow your submissions' review status from your profile, and handle every invitation in one place. Sign-in errors are clearer, and translations are better across the board.

WebMobileAPI

A release about where your reading comes from, and what happens to your writing after you hit publish.

New Stage views

  • Organizations — see publications from the organizations you follow, right from the feed switcher.
  • Inner Circles — catch up on your circles without leaving the Stage.
  • Organization badges — feed cards show which organization published a piece.

From your journal to Stanza

The Writing Space is private by default. Now you can publish an entry from it when it's ready.

  • Publish an entry — send a journal entry to Stanza as a poem.
  • All the usual controls — content warnings, visibility and attribution, with an optional appearance step.
  • A clear checkpoint — public posts ask you to acknowledge that they'll be public.

Review status on your profile

  • In review — a section on your profile, with a see-all page, for submissions that are being reviewed.
  • Status badges — In review, Changes requested and Rejected appear on your profile and draft cards.

Invites in one place

Accept or decline circle and organization invitations from a single panel, on the web and in the app.

Fixes

Poem text could be hard to read over background images.

  • Before — text could disappear into a busy image.
  • After — it stays crisp and legible.

Sign-in errors were vague.

  • Before — a wrong password and too many attempts looked the same, and a cancelled Google or Apple sign-in could leave the loading screen stuck.
  • After — each case has its own clear message, and a cancelled sign-in returns you to the sign-in screen.

Errors hid their reason.

  • Before — many failures just said “An unexpected error occurred”.
  • After — you see what actually went wrong.

Publishing from the journal failed.

  • Before — publishing a journal entry to Stanza could return “not found”.
  • After — it publishes, and the editor has a manual save.

Reliability, security & accessibility

  • Translations — every hard-coded string in the app is now translated, across all 11 supported languages.
  • Circles on the web — the circle feed uses a responsive grid of editorial cards.
  • Feed fixes — smoother immersive scrolling, correct membership on collapsed cards, and fixes for circles, live and the activity feed.
