v2.2.0 — Safer publishing, a Submission Tracker & accessibility settings

This release is about control: who finds your work, where you've sent it, and how Stanza looks and moves for you.

Safer public publishing

Publishing publicly is a real decision, so Stanza now treats it like one.

• Search engines are opt-in — each poem has an “Allow search engine indexing” switch. It's off by default; turn it on if you want a public poem to be found from outside Stanza.
• A moment to confirm — public posts show a short notice and ask you to acknowledge it before publishing.
• Occasional review — if our automated checks flag a poem, it gets a short human review before it goes public. You'll see “Sent to review before publication”, and the poem stays editable.
• Spoken word too — audio poems follow the same rules.

Submission Tracker

If you also send work to journals and magazines, the Submission Tracker keeps a record of where each poem has gone.

• Log each attempt — record the poem, where you sent it, and an optional note.
• Track progress — mark it planned, submitted, accepted, declined or withdrawn.
• Targets — save journals with their website and a link to their guidelines.
• Eligibility hints — where a journal's first-publication policy is known, Stanza suggests whether a poem you've already shared is likely to be eligible.
• Find it — Submission Tracker is in the navigation, on the web and in the app.

Accessibility settings

A new Settings › Accessibility page lets you adjust Stanza to suit you.

• Text size — larger interface text, with a size scale.
• High contrast — stronger contrast for text and controls.
• Reduce motion — fewer animated transitions.
• Text direction — follow your language automatically, or force left-to-right or right-to-left.

Notifications

• Per profile — notification controls now apply to each of your profiles separately.
• Invites and requests — invitations and requests show up where you can act on them.

Fixes

Some badge pages failed to load.

• Before — loading badges could end in an error.
• After — badges load reliably.

Pull-to-refresh stopped working on the mobile feed.

• Before — pulling down did nothing.
• After — pull down to refresh the feed again.

Reliability, security & accessibility

• Sign-in — if your account's setup was interrupted, Stanza now finishes it when you sign in instead of failing.
• Security — a broad hardening pass on the rules that govern who can read and change data.
• Audio — new safeguards in how spoken-word uploads are checked.
