An Organization is a shared identity on Stanza for a journal, press, school, writing group, or collective. It has its own profile, its own team with roles, and the ability to publish and feature work — separately from your personal account.
What an organization can do
- Its own profile — a dedicated page with branding, bio, and a stage of published work.
- A team with roles — invite members as Owner, Admin, Editor, or contributor, each with the right permissions.
- Publish on behalf of members — feature or publish a member's poem with clear, dual credit to both the author and the organization.
- Open Calls — run submission calls and review what comes in.
Switching between you and your organization
Your organization is a separate profile you switch into from the profile menu. While acting as the organization, your stage, inbox, and dashboard all reflect the org — switch back any time to return to your personal account.
tip
You keep full ownership of your own poems. When an organization wants to publish or sponsor your work, it arrives as a request in your inbox that you can accept or decline.
