Save is Stanza's private bookmark. Save a poem you want to come back to, or a poet you want to remember, and it waits for you in Saved. Nobody else can see what you've saved.
Saving a poem
- Open the poem's ⋯ menu.
- Choose Save. It's the first item, labelled "Private · only you can see your saves".
- A message confirms it: "Saved. Only you can see your saves.", with a shortcut to View Saved.
A saved poem shows a small filled ribbon beside its ⋯ menu. Tap the ribbon to unsave it, or choose Saved – remove from the menu. Removed something by mistake? Choose Undo in the message that appears.
Saving a poet
On a poet's profile, choose Save. It's marked "Private · only you can see it". You can't save your own profile.
Finding your saves
Open Saved from the Library (in the You section), or type "saved" into Jump to…. The page reminds you: "Only you can see this page."
- Switch between the Poems and Poets tabs.
- Saves are listed newest first, with when you saved each one.
- Open anything with a tap, or use its menu to Remove from Saved.
Saves are private, always
- The poet is never told who saved their work.
- Nobody can see a list of who saved something, on any plan, not even the poet in their own analytics.
- The most anyone else sees is a count. A poet's analytics may show how many times a poem was saved, never by whom.
- Your saves don't appear in your activity, in anyone's feed, or in "who reacted" lists.
When a saved item becomes unavailable
If a poem is deleted, or the poet changes who can read it, or a poet's account is closed or blocked, the item stays in Saved but its details are hidden. You'll see a short note such as "This poem isn't available" and an option to remove it. Saved never shows you something you're no longer allowed to open.
Save or add to a list?
In a poem's ⋯ menu, Save sits directly above Add to a list…. They're different on purpose:
- Save: private. Just for you, like a bookmark.
- Add to a list…: curation. It's for sharing your taste, and public lists show your name.
Want others to see your picks? Use a list. Want to remember something quietly? Save it.
Saves and your feed
Saving a poem tells your For You feed that you valued it, which helps it find more like it. That signal stays private too.
Each profile has its own saves
If you have more than one profile, each keeps its own Saved page.
Saving is a good way to keep track of poems you'd like to Encore later in the month. Your Encores renew on the 1st.
