Your First Poem

Write and Publish in Minutes

Step 1: Open the Composer

Click the Compose button in the sidebar (desktop) or the + icon in the bottom nav (mobile). Choose Text for written poetry or Spoken Word for audio.

Step 2: Add a Title

Give your poem a title (up to 500 characters). This is how it appears in feeds and search.

Step 3: Write Your Poem

Use Standard Mode for rich text with formatting, or Advanced Mode for plain text with line numbers and character counts. Write your heart out.

Step 4: Add Metadata (Optional)

• Poetic Form — Sonnet, Haiku, Free Verse, Villanelle, Ode, and more
• Style — Contemporary, Classical, Romantic, and others
• Tags — Descriptive tags to help others find your work

Step 5: Set Privacy & Publish

Choose who sees your poem: Public, Followers, Friends, Groups (circle), or Private. Click Publish or Save as Draft to finish later.
