The More menu is your shortcut to everything beyond the main tabs. On a phone it's the last button in the bottom bar. On a computer, the same tools live in the sidebar on the left.
What's inside
You
Your name, @username and role sit at the top. Tap them to open your profile. Switch profile lets you change persona or Add or manage profiles. Switching changes who reacts, writes and receives alerts.
Write
Start something in one tap:
- Poem: begin a poem.
- Spoken: record spoken word.
- Journal: open your private Writing Space.
If you're an organization's staff, you'll see whom you're posting as.
Continue
Your most recent draft, with how long ago you edited it. Tap to pick up where you left off.
Right now
Timely things, when there are any: performances that are Live now, an Open call that's closing soon, and pending organization Requests.
Pinned
Up to four places you visit most, one tap away. New members start with Podcasts, Circles and Lists.
Jump to…
Type the name of any place or setting and go straight there. See "Search Preferences and Jump To".
Library, theme and sign out
A link to the full Library, a quick theme switch, and Sign out.
Pinning places
- Open More and find Pinned.
- Tap Edit pinned (or Add).
- Tap a place to add it, or the remove option on a pinned tile to take it off.
- To reorder, tap a tile to select it and then move it, or press and hold and drag. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys.
You can pin places such as Podcasts, Circles, Lists, Live, Critiques, Open Calls, Confectionaries, the Submission Tracker, Writing Space, Drafts, Discover, Organizations and Requests. Stage, Search, Alerts and Community are already in the bottom bar, so they can't be pinned. When all four slots are full, remove a tile before adding another.
Pins are saved on each device, so your phone and computer can have different favourites.
Badges on tiles
Pinned tiles show what's new: new posts in your circles, new podcast episodes, live performances and pending requests. Counts refresh while the menu is open, hide at zero, and show "99+" for big numbers.
Organization profiles
When you're acting as an organization, the menu offers the organization's places instead, such as Open Calls, Publications, Staff and Analytics, with their own pins.
On a computer
The sidebar holds the same blocks, always visible on a wide window. Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on a Mac) to open Jump to… from anywhere.
Pin the place you open most often, whether that's Drafts, Critiques or Circles. Saving a few taps every day adds up.
