Prefer a bigger screen and a proper keyboard? Stanza works well on a computer, in your browser at stanza.ink.
A layout built for big screens
Native desktop apps for Windows and macOS are in development. Until they arrive, use Stanza in your browser. On a wide window it switches to a layout built for big screens:
- A sidebar on the left replaces the phone's bottom bar. It holds your profile, writing shortcuts, pinned places and Jump to….
- Writing tools gain room to breathe. In the composer, the Details, Appearance and Settings panels sit beside your poem instead of behind tabs.
- Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on a Mac) opens Jump to…, so you can move to any place or setting by typing its name.
Stanza in your browser
Stanza runs in any modern browser at stanza.ink, with your whole account: poems, lists, settings and the Writing Space.
Install it like an app
Most modern browsers let you install Stanza from the web. It then opens in its own window, with its own icon in your dock, taskbar or Start menu. Look for the install option in your browser's address bar or menu.
Writing without a connection
Stanza is built to keep your words safe when the internet isn't there:
- The Writing Space works offline. Entries are saved on your device, and you can publish when you're back online.
- When you lose your connection, a banner lets you know and points you to the Writing Space, so a half-finished poem never disappears.
One account everywhere
Your account, profiles, poems, lists and settings are the same on every device. Sign in on your computer and pick up where you left off on your phone. A few things are kept per device on purpose: recent searches, your pinned places, and Writing Space settings.
Learn one shortcut: Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac). It's the quickest way to reach any setting without hunting through menus.
