Stanza is a home for poetry, built around how poets actually write, read, perform and give feedback. General social networks treat a poem as one more post; Stanza is designed around the work.

Built for poems, not posts

• Poems look like poems. Line breaks, stanzas and spacing are kept exactly as you wrote them, and you can give each piece its own presentation: background, typography and theme.
• A short settling window. After you publish, you have a brief window to fix typos before margin notes and critiques open, so feedback always refers to the final text.
• Margin notes. Readers can leave a note beside a single line, the way you would pencil a thought into the margin of a book.

Spoken word is a first-class medium

Record in the app with a live waveform, or upload a recording. Add your own transcript or let speech-to-text write one. Spoken pieces sit alongside written ones and get their own critique dimensions, such as Delivery and Stage Presence.
